Apricot Tequila Glazed Drumsticks

This sweet & spicy chicken dish only has 4 ingredients…

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 1/2 cups apricot preserves
  • 2 tbs crushed hot chilli
  • 1/3 cup Sauza Tequila Blanco
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste

Method:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine apricot preserves, chile de arbol and tequila in medium pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Season drumsticks with salt and pepper on all sides and place on glass baking dish.

Brush apricot mixture on drumsticks and pour left over mixture all over chicken.

Roast for 60 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked and crispy.

    I am thinking of making crumbed chicken drumsticks but i’m not a very good cook. Can I leave the frozen chicken out overnight? How long do i put the chicken in the oven for and at what temperature, Celsius please.
    I also want to give some chicken to my 11 month old son. Am I able to cook the chicken in the oven to the point where its not bad for him, I hope you can help me.

    I want to defrost 4 chicken drumsticks in the microwave and it asks me for the weight of the food in gr.
    I don’t know what to put for all, but I’m thinking of setting it at 500gr.

    What do you think a normal sized chicken drumstick weighs ?

    Can someone tell me how to cook chicken drumsticks in the oven? I am not a cook and am embarrassed to ask how to do this. I don’t have a lot of ingredients to make this fancy either so just advice on temperature, time, etc. is helpful

    I recently picked up a few pounds of large chicken drumsticks from Whole Foods and I’m planning on serving them tonight. They have a dry rub made with garlic and herbs already on them, so I’m unsure how to prepare them.

    Should I broil them? Bake – low and slow?

    Any advice would be great and much appreciated!

    If a have a raw 6 oz chicken drum how much will the bone weight,also will the bone weight less if i cook the drumstick and if so then how much will the bone of a 5oz chicken drumstick weigh

    When I cook chicken drumsticks / legs, I sometimes find a few in a batch that still have some blood (along the bone) even after being cooked for a long time!
    Is there a way to make sure to drain all blood out before cooking them?

    I have chicken drumsticks, and i would like to bake them I just dont know how to! any recipes would be appreciated, also slight inconvenience im out of flour. help?
    i dont have breadcrumbs, i dont want breaded drumsticks. maybe marinade them in something then bake?
