I have a couple of questions.
– My daughter is 8mo and currently has 3 meals a day, AFTER her breastfeeds. Now I have been getting inconsistent information from the maternal and child health nurses and am wondering when do I start giving her breastfeeds after the solid food? Some information suggests at around 7 months but then other suggests it shouldn’t be until around 10 months.
– Another question I have is relating to finger foods, again I am getting conflicting information some people are saying I can offer them to her now others are saying not until 10months or so, I have been offering her frozen banana in a mesh bag, avocado slices and bread crusts which she hasn’t had a problem with, is there any reason why I should not continue to do so?
– At what age do I start offering her food snacks at mid morning and mid afternoon?
– And finally when the time comes to offer carrot sticks, how soft should they be cooked, are they well steamed or only slightly? Thank you in advance, I appreciate any information.
