Breakfast Smoothie Popsicles

Nuvita Biscuits

This dessert for breakfast is fun and nutritious. A great way to cool off in those hot summer mornings!

  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1/2 lb strawberries, fresh
  • 2 TBS protein powder
  • 4 tsp wheat bran
  • 4 tsp flax meal

  1. Add in a blender:
    • 2 cup milk
    • 1 banana , peeled
    • 1/2 lb strawberries , fresh
    • 2 TBS protein powder
    • 4 tsp wheat bran
    • 4 tsp flax meal
  1. Blend until smooth.
  2. Divide evenly into popsicle molds, above pictured using 5-oz paper cups.
  3. Place in the center of each popsicle a wooden popsicle stick and freeze until solid, 4-6 hours. If the popsicle stick won’t stand up straight prior to freezing, place popsicles in the freezer for 30 minutes, replace stick and continue freezing until done.
  4. If you’re not going to eat the popsicles within 24 hours, put popsicles in a plastic freezer bag. Popsicles will keep in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

My summer just started, literally a week ago and I’m already bored out of my mind. It seems like everyone else is having a good time doing fun exciting things. But my friends and I are always bored and we need things to do, but I don’t know what, can anyone offer a few ideas?
It might also help if they are inexpensive too because as we all know times are tough and summer is pretty long so we all need to catch a break now and then.

Breakfast- A fruit (Apple, Orange, or Grapes) or Scrambled eggs I usually alternate each day.
Lunch- Water, A cold cut sandwich on white bread (Sometimes Tuna) and another fruit (Apple, Orange, or Grapes)
Dinner- Water, with whatever my mom cooks. She usually cooks either meat or pasta.

I work out 3 days a week at a gym.

My kids are 2 and 7. Usually we eat breakfast, have a snack eat lunch, then have after school snack, eat dinner and have a bed time snack. I know snacks are important to keep the kids enegized and full between meals but, I have a hard time choosing healthy snacks for my kids. I always have fresh fruit, Bannana’s , grapes, oranges and apples. But my 7 year old always complains about the fruit. What are some alternatives to icecream, chips and cookies?

I’m 15, and it’s summer(obviously) and basically I just need something to do all summer. I’m going to be home for the majority of it because I’m on probation, and right now I have a 6 o’clock curfew, and when I get off of court release it’ll be 8, but I still won’t be able to spend the night anywhere or do anything I was planning to do this summer.
Anyways, I just need some ideas(preferably ones that don’t involve money).

I want to get active this summer but I have a small backyard. My pool takes up almost the whole thing. Sometimes my pool is too cold to swim in (even in the summer) and it’s really hard. My parents want to get us a club card to Family Fitness but they are still thinking about it. We have a park down the street but it’s for littler kids. There’s nothing to do there. Help! I’m bored!

Would i drop more pounds if i was to give up chocolate or if i was to give up cheese?

Around how much would i Lose if i gave up one? both?

Lately my parents decided to ban one of my best friends from my house, and this ruined half of my summer plans; since most of our summer plans involved her and I, plus our other best friend/neighbor. So, do you have any ideas of things that I (and my friends, not necessarily) can do this summer, besides swimming? It can’t be that “kiddish” because my 2 friends are going into 8th grade, and I’m going into 7th– and not to adultish, either. =] Thanks.
