Bagel halves are a quick, kid-friendly stand-in for traditional pizza crust.
Ingredients:
- 2 (4 1/2-inch, 2 1/4-ounce) plain bagels, sliced in half
- 1/2 cup lower-sodium marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken breast
- 1 cup pre-shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Method:
- 1. Preheat broiler.
- 2. Place bagel halves, cut sides up, on a baking sheet. Broil 2 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- 3. Spread 2 tablespoons marinara on cut side of each bagel half. Top each half with 1/4 cup chicken, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Broil bagel halves an additional 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

Hello
i was wondering if I am currently living a healthy life. I am a girl (13) weigh 86 lbs and am 5’1”. I want to lose about 5 lbs from my stomach, or in general. I am fairly active and my resting heart rate is about 48 bpm.
Breakfast I pick and choose 3 of the following:
plain cheerios (original)
1/2 grapefruit
1 frozen banana
dannon light n fit
1.5 cups of various fruits
for lunch, the healthiest food my school offers is a white bagel. I usually end up getting 2. My school also offers extra cheesy pizza, fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, french fries, and onion rings.
for dinner, I usually have 3 choices from the following (like breakfast):
small chicken breast, grilled
fruit with dannon light n fit
fruit with hummus (sabra, plain)
poached egg whites
rarely a small turkey breast deli meat
I also usually snack on an orange and a (large) handful of plain nuts
About 2 months ago, I weighed 75, and ate toaster waffles for breakfast, fried chicken for lunch, and hot dogs for dinner almost every day. Not on the topic of food, but at sometimes I feel slightly depressed and I am almost always tired. I was also wondering if that might have anything to do with my weight gain, depression, or lack of energy.
If anyone has any recommendations for what I can pack in a lunchbox for school, any excercises that can trim my stomach in particular, or anything I can do to feel more energetic. By the way, I feel kind of insomniac on a few nights. For example, one night I would go to bed at 8:30 but not fall asleep until 11, wake up a few times, then wake up at 6 get ready for school, while another similar night, I would go to bed at 9:30, fall right asleep, and wake up feeling fully rested but then get extremely tired throughout the day. I am okay with reading long answers, anything to help me look and feel better
thankyaa
i needed that kind of thing
thanks alexis
emranmeteor…really? why? specifics please. I don’t have a lot of extra money, but if it is a dire emergency, I will.
