Meaty, cheesy, and delicious—kids will love this comforting dinner of Chili-Cheese Mac. But, that’s not all, parents will love it too–it’s quick.


  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 3/4 pound ground round beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 cups fat-free, lower-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (10-ounce) can mild diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup fat-free milk
  • 4 ounces 1/3-less-fat cream cheese
  • 4 1/2 ounces finely shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese


  1. 1. Heat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add oil. Add beef and next 4 ingredients; cook 3 minutes. Add broth, water, and tomatoes; bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni; cover and cook 10 minutes or until macaroni is done.
  2. 2. Heat milk and cream cheese in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook 4 minutes or until cheese melts, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in cheddar. Add cheese sauce to macaroni mixture; toss well to coat.

    A box of Smore’s poptarts, a package of lindor truffles, three Nutri-Grain bars, half a bag of peanut butter filled, chocolate covered pretzel nuggets, two grilled cheese sandwiches, three containers of yoplait yogurt, a bag of goldfish, a frozen lasagna, half a dozen Jell-O pudding cups, a dozen Reese’s cups, three microwavable corn dogs, a bag of popcorn, two packages of Chicken flavor Top Ramen Soup, a package of double-stuffed oreos with two glasses of chocolate milk, a box of Hostess cupcakes, a bag of beef jerky, half a box of Eggo Chocolate Chip Waffles with maple syrup, a pint of cookie dough ice cream with hot fudge and lots of nuts, an entire bag of Spicy Nacho Doritos, half a dozen homemade chocolate muffins, a bagel with cream cheese, three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, 2 king sized snickers bars, a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a bowl of Reese’s Puffs, a can of Bush’s baked beans, a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese, a container of cinnamon rolls, a bag of Totino’s pizza rolls, a package of Johnsonville Cheddar Bratwursts on buns, an entire extra large “The Meats” pizza from Papa Johns, 2 liters of Coca-Cola, a triple baconator along with a Chicken Club sandwich along with a large chili and a bacon and cheese baked potato from Wendy’s. A big steak omelot from IHOP along with a stack of cheesecake pancakes. Ten piece chicken mcnuggets from McDonalds along with two angus snack wraps. A bacon ultimate cheeseburger fromm Jack in the Box along with bacon cheddar potato wedges. Buffalo Chicken fajatas from Chili’s along with a Chocolate Molton Cake. A dozen Chocolate Iced Creme Filled doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. A full rack of ribs and a 14 oz ribeye from Outback along with a Bloomin’ Onion. Three egg rolls from Panda Express along with a container of fried rice and a container of Beijing Beef. A large Reese’s cup blizzard from Dairy Queen. A 7 layer burrito, Beefy 5 layer burrito, grilled stuff beef burrito, burrito supreme, Fiesta Taco Salad, XXL chulupa, and Nachos Bell Grande from Taco Bell. A Western Bacon Six Dollar Burger and a big country breakfast burrito and chili cheese fries and onion rings from Carl Jr. A double stacked footlong meatball marinara from Subway. Two Double Downs, a container of mashed potatoes and a container of cole slaw and a biscuit from KFC. Penne Rustica from Romano’s Macaroni Grill, and finally an entire chocolate cheesecake and a pan of triple chocolate fudge brownies with chocolate ice cream.

    How do I recover and make this doesn’t happen again? How can I keep myself from getting hungry?

    I wish somehow a ton of comfort food just popped into bed with me- mac and cheese, hot dogs with all the toppings, cheese cake, huge soft warm choc chip cookies and m&m sugar cookies, doughnuts, fried rice, grilled cheese, onion rings and french fries, veggie burger with all the delicious toppings, mozzarella sticks, chocolate covered cherries, watermelon and pineapple, warm apple pie, root beer float, cheetos, Chili cheese Fritos, veggie and cheese pizza, and grilled veggies…..YUMMIE

    I have 1 lb of hamburger

    32 oz bag of macaroni

    1 chili seasoning packet


    garlic powder

    shredded cheese

    wheat bread


    I also have milk and a few other spices but thats about it…I’m hungry and need something simple.
