I am having friends round and were having cocktails – what booze should I have in to make sure we can make as many different cocktails as possible?(without spending a small fortune!)

What cocktails should a competent cocktail bartender know?

I’m pretty much trying to impress a girl by making some really nice mixed drinks for her, she likes fruity cocktails so I’m looking for something like that instead of a shooter. I’m looking to make something that isn’t too well known either, Maybe something that looks fancy or colourful?

Me and my wife like to sit back and drink casually at night and we have run out of ideas for cocktails and mixed drinks. Im looking for something quick and easy. And moderately cheap. But also delicious. So please let me know of your ideas. Thanks

We just recent went on holiday and at a little pub named ScuBar we found they done $6 cocktails named Bullfighters. I know it had Lime, Mother Energy Drink and Lychee liqueur in it, but for the life of me I can’t remember the last ingredient. It was a dark brown bottle. Does anyone have any idea, been there and had it or knows from bartending?

I turned 21 a few months ago, whenever I go to a bar I always get a rum and coke because I don’t know what other cocktails to try. What cocktails do you order?

I have a bottle of Triple Sec liquor, it’s rather strong to drink it on its own, and I would like to mix some cocktails with it. I know that Triple Sec is a component for Margarita, but I don’t like tequila. Are there any other simple cocktails to make with Triple Sec?

I haven’t tried any cocktails before and I was wondering what would you recommend for someone who doesn’t really enjoy the taste of alcohol. If the taste is quite strong I’d easily pick shots over it.

I am having a formal cocktail party in December.I will be having approx. 70-80 people both business related as well as personal friends.Last party I had, a business related fellow and his wife brought their 2 month old baby. The baby cried almost the whole party and the mother kept bottle feeding in the middle of the party. It shocked me that they brought the baby to a party invitation that clearly stated “cocktails”.Her mother lives nearby, she comes from a large family with many brothers and sisters who could have baby sat,or they could have simply not come.I really do not want a repeat of last the party.I do not want to have to state “adults only” on the invitation.Any thoughts on how to avoid a repeat?

My family runs a store and have been selling cocktails made with our own twist on traditional recipes for several years. We’ve been quite popular with our costumers and have a loyal following so we’re looking for a way to branch out of small business now. We have several recipes we would like to patent and need a bottler and distributor. We would love to partner up with a major vendor like Lord & Dock and produce a line of prepared cocktails like Pernod Richard’s KahlĂșa Chocolate Latte. Unfortunately we don’t know much about the large commercial industry for bottled alcoholic drinks so does anyone know how we might go about doing this? This includes how to find the right lawyer and getting in contact with the right people who can become distributors. We’ve been having very little luck with using the internet to research anything specific. Thank you.

I’m having friends over for cocktails and wondered what cocktails I could make that use the same or similar ingredients to minimise my spending.

I am in the midst of wedding planning, and have been doing some wedding magazine reading. One of the suggestions my fiance and I fell in love with was to make spiked snow cones; however I was hoping to make a variety of spiked snow cones to taste like our favorite cocktails instead of serving straight cocktails.

I am trying to make virgin cocktails and build up an arsenal of ingredients. Could you please tell me any good recipes for virgin cocktails, and common ingredients I should buy (non-alcoholic please) to build up a library of multi purpose/use ingredients. Thanks!!

So basically the only alcohol I have is Jim Beam sour mash whiskey, what are some good cocktails I can make with only this alcoholic ingredient? (this is the only alcohol I have).

So, I am living in China and getting western alcohol is not easy. So far, I have managed to get:

Vodka (albeit one bottle is Lime and the other Lemon flavour)

I can get basic things as well (fruit, orange juice etc). What decent cocktails can I make? Thanks.

Hello guys, I’m a student and I’m currently studying recipes of cocktails online. I don’t have any bartending background except for my love of the different cocktails the world has to offer. Since I want to learn how to mix cocktails, what are the most advisable cocktails I should master? Both non-alcoholic and alcoholic).

I hear about alot of interesting cocktails and want to try them out at a bar. Much more obscure and better than the standard fare of appletini’s, and red bull and jack. Can anybody recommend a place with bartenders who know their stuff?

I am having friends over for a cocktail party and I guess you can say I have all the basics. What should I put on the drink menu?
I am doing a cocktail buffet with appetizer-type foods.
