Pork with Prune Chutney

Nuvita Biscuits

The dear old prune gets a very Nineties image – transformed into a taste bud – thrilling chutney that’s perfect with pork.

i know i’ve gained a bit of weight over the holidays… i’m thinking 5 pounds but it could easily be more (i’m hoping or as much as 10). i’m 5’7 and roughly 145lbs… or was. i DESPERATLY want to lose it. i can just tell by looking at my midsection and the way my clothes fit that i have gained. i got my period twice this month (2 weeks apart) so is it possible some of it is bloating??? i’ve also been taking a lot of antibiotics for a bladder infection that would not go away. anyways, i was thinking of starting a regimen to lose this extra weight… i would eat 1200 calories per day and do cardio 2 hours per day. do you think this would shed the extra weight in a month or less?

I have a female friend that is wanting to loose weight. She has some back and knee issues along side she has cellulitis. If you aren’t familiar with cellulitis it is a localized or diffuse inflammation of connective tissue with severe inflammation of dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin.

She is willing to try taking pills in combination with exercise in order to loose this weight. I am aware that there is probably going to be some things she can’t do.

So ultimately I wonder if there is some stuff that she could do to help her loose the weight she is wanting to loose?

Any tips on the best way and time to prune a Bramley to produce more fruiting spurs. It is a fairly young tree but it is obviously going to produce less fruit than last year
