I live in Massachusetts. I thought maybe it was a June bug, but I can’t find any links that play its song. It isn’t a cicada (I’ve looked up that song…This one is different.) It sounds like the feedback noise you get when you put a mic too close to the speaker.

Can someone please tell me what is causing all of these June bugs in my front and back yard and how to get rid of them It seems like there are thousands just flying around my lights and hanging on our walls and in our pool. What is causes this all of a sudden? It started about a week ago.

We have been watering our lawn more then usual because we just bought sod which we laid on our fron yard.
I don’t want them to destroy our newly planted grass

I’ve been enjoying seeing June Bugs on my evening walks this past month, at least until I read here that their larvae can destroy lawns once they emerge from their eggs. But I got to wondering …

Obviously we call them June Bugs because that is when they’re flying about and reproducing. But they must exist in some manner during other months of the year. Where are they in November, for instance? Hibernating?

I am analyzing this bird quote trying to determine its meaning. I need some other points of view or interpretations.

I need a meaning applying to or referring to people or people situations, not to birds.

If you can give me a sample of using this quote along with the meaning (as you understand it) that would also be very useful and appreciated.

I am thinking of putting a “Bug Zapper” in our back yard because every morning I have to clean out close to or more than 50 June bugs and Japanese beetles from our pool ( we are currently trying to find a cover big enough to cover the pool at night but so far every place we go is “SOLD OUT”. People have told me to buy those bettle traps but I’ve also heard the attract more. Any ideas would help. Thanks
