  • 3 frozen kiwis (freeze in small cubes for easy blending.
    1 banana
    1 pink grapefruit, juiced (about 3/4 cup juice)
    1 Tbsp agave syrup
    small handful of fresh basil
    handful of ice cubes


  1. Blend. Pour. Serve!

    I’m thinking about doing it just to see what it’s like. I probably wouldn’t do it for years, just a couple of weeks. Tips please? I have no idea when it comes to this stuff. I know I won’t be able to eat meat, but is there any thing else? And what about when I go back to eating meat, should I be careful? Thanks!
    Ugh.. I don’t want to be a vegetarian for a long time. I just want to try it out.

    well i’m not too old but i think i could be healthier i am not fat but i just feel like i eat too much unhealthy things so i need advice on how i should eat and like how many times a day things like that and maybe some healthy snacks…. thanks

    I want to lose some weight (currently 160 lbs). I’m 17, female, 5’8. Vegetarian now (was vegan but switched til I live on my own). I don’t think I’m fat, but I think that I would look and feel much better (about myself) if I lost about 10-15 pounds.

    Daily needs from

    I want to make sure I’m getting the nutrients, etc that I need. So far I’ve been doing very well making sure I get what I need (protein, b12, iron, etc from not eating meat anymore). I don’t eat eggs or drink milk. But sometimes I eat things that are made with milk and eggs (but only a very small amount).

    My huge problem is eating WAY too much sugar. I don’t drink pop, though. I love chocolate and anything sugary. I make almost everything I eat taste sweet and don’t want to get diabetes!

    So here’s what I like:

    – zucchini, tomato, sweet potato, bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, corn, squash, pumpkin, avocado, cauliflower, chickpeas, beans, lentils, asparagus, garlic, carrot

    – cherry, blackberry, peach, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, banana, coconut, kiwi, watermelon, grapes

    – rice, pasta, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, spinach, cookies

    flavours: vanilla, garlicky, peppery, etc..

    As you can see I’m not very picky.

    Even if you only feel like suggesting something I would be happy! Thanks for anwering!

    I have a sweet basil plant and was wondering when it will be ready to use. It’s a lighter shade of green (I’ve never grown sweet basil so I don’t know if that’s normal or if it needs to mature and become darker) and about 6-8 inches tall. Any tips would be great.

    If i juice 4 apples, is that really 4 apples that i have put into my body? Just wondering if what i juiced is like i would have eaten it? Any other advice about juicing will be good too, i just bought a juicer and plan on using it multiple times a day, Jack Lalanes juicer if i spelt that right LOL.

    I am having trouble finding good ideas for things i can eat for meals. I can not eat the following things:

    cows milk (all associated products..milk, cheese, butter, etc..)
    corn (corn syrup etc.)
    romaine lettuce
    iceburg lettuce
    vinegar (bbq sauce, soy sauce…)

    also, i forgot

    pork and
    no tomatos or celery either

    This is what I’ve eaten today:

    Breakfast:Smoothie,Grapes and A kiwi fruit.

    Lunch:Wholemeal Pitta Bread with Rocket and Hummus


    Dinner:Tomato,Mozzerella,and Avocado salad with basil leaves,black pepper and balsamic vinegar.

    im really trying to eat healthier but im always hungry (im a girl, but still haha(: ) and i can never find food that is filling and easy to find/make. i eat lots of fruits and veggies but what are some snack ideas? and maybe some dinner/lunch ideas, but for the most part my family eats pretty healthy meals, its just always snacks that arent good for me.
    oh and im not trying to lose weight or anything, ive just been staying active lately and though this would be a good time to eat a little better :)

    I know someone that has been smoking marijuana & been taking pills. Trying to quit cold turkey to have a better life. Is there anything they can do for the sickness and just feeling so bad?

    I cant stop eating. I’ve lost 35 lbs 2 years ago and I have been doing really well but lately, I guess you can call it – relapsing – because I’ve been eating non-stop. This will sound gross but I had Michey D’s 7 days in a row and before that Ive not touched that stuff for more than 1.5 years! What is wrong with me?

    Ive gained back 5 lbs so it’s still manageable but Im afraid if this keeps going without controling myself, I’ll gain back all the weight I lost and then some.

    Any effective tips on how to stop that has worked for you? I dont know why but Im constantly craving for junk food for no reasons!!

    P.s. I already know all the healthier options for snacking and Im not an emotional eater either, Im happy and fine…just greedy for junk food and cant stop :(

    I know the basics…chicken salads and veggies. Does anyone know of any quick, delicious, filling lunch ideas? For dinners something fairly quick as well….im trying to start eating healthier and feeding my family better. Were big on pastas but I hear too much pasta is bad for you but im lost aside from chicken and rice and veggies for dinner..I can’t think of anything really healthy for lunch all I can think of is salad :/ which is not my favorite. For breakfast….fruit oatmeal or eggs is really all I can think of. Any ideas will be appreciated!

    I work two jobs and attend school full time, so I have very little time to plan for meals. :( As a result, I eat fast food A LOT, and by the time I get home I’m so exhausted, I go right to sleep.

    My body isn’t used to eating this way and I am worried that I’m not getting the vitamins/nutrients/etc that are essential for my body. I was hoping someone could recommend foods or drinks that I could eat that would be able to fill in the gaps in my diet (like V8?). Preferably prepackaged or easy to prepare. Thanks so much :)

    Last year my friend had made a shake for me that included a bunch of natural ingredients. I drank the shake fast, and for the next few hours I felt this amazing mental clarity… like a rush of health..

    Does anyone know of any good ingredients for health shakes similar to this? (keep in mind, I prefer a shake that doesn’t help with weight loss)
