Hi all, so I’m deciding on becoming a vegetarian for ethical reasons (but I’m not deciding to/don’t see a reason to go vegan, don’t debate me on this, just read on). so I was just in the process now of exploring the “fake meat” foods like soy burgers, soy hot dogs, honestly, they taste bland and I dunno if it’s gonna work with me (ya, im kinda a picky eater to begin w/). Is this whole vegetarian thing gonna work? Are there any vegetarians that don’t like soy stuff either but eat other stuff? I’m just trying to explore normal foods that don’t have meat, the list below is what I could think of, what am I missing? can you help add to this list?
Breakfast:
Eggs, hash browns, waffles, pancakes, cereal
american
soups, salads, mac/cheese, most pastries, fruits
Italian:
Cheese pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, pasta w/o meat
Chinese
Chow mein w/o meat, fried rice
Mexican
Cheese enchiladas, cheese quesadillas, Spanish rice
Can anyone help add to this list of stuff a vegetarian can eat? thanks
