read over this paragraph make it better and add more words

I wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. In my kitchen there is a variety of foods.
When I come down stairs I see my mother making blueberry pancakes. I can also see many
delicious fruits such as apples, bananas, oranges and pears. Since my is family coming over I
decide to make a full course meal. For the main meal I am going to make lasagne. In order to
make this dish you need ingredients such as 1lb of ground beef, one white onion, a quarter of a
red onion, 3-4 cloves fresh garlic, 400g tin of chopped tomatoes, 9 strips of uncooked Lasagne
pasta, 1 teaspoon of basil, 1 tablespoon of oregano, salt and pepper to taste and generous helping
of grated cheese. I combine the ingredients together to form pasta sauce. The smell of the
sauce was mouth-watering. Finally I layer the Meat sauce, then the pasta, and finally a top coat
of cheese. For dessert I decide to make a delicious cake. In a mixing bowl I add cake mix and
other ingredients. I place the cake in the oven and wait for it to bake. Once I hear the oven
beeping (indicates time is up) I let it cool. Once the cake is cool I start to frost it with chocolate
icing. I dip my finger in the icing and put it in my mouth I can feel the chocolate melting on my
tongue. Now there is a delicious vanilla cake with chocolate icing and colourful sprinkles.

      thanks so much!

White sugar is an extreme no no for health, whereas brown sugar can be eaten. In ingredients of products it mostly says ‘sugar’, how do I find out if it was made of white or brown sugar?

I’m making cinnamon rolls for tomorrow morning. I have just enough sugar for the dough, but not for the filling. Can I substitute the white sugar with powdered sugar?
