Stuffed Dates Wrapped in Bacon

Dates stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in strips of bacon and leek
Ingredients:
Dates 150 gm
Cream cheese 50 gm
Black pepper 1 tsp
Chives 1 tsp
Bacon rashers 12
Leek ribbons 12
Method:
Cut the dates lengthwise, but not all the way through . Take the seed out.
Whisk the cream cheese, mix in black pepper and chives, spoon into the dates.
Put it back to together. Wrap in bacon rashers. Bake in a hot oven fo 7 minutes.
Blanch the leeks in boiling salted water. Soak in iced water. Pat dry.
Roll the dates with the leek ribbons. Hold together with tooth picks.
Pan fry in olive oil (veg) / roll dates in bacon for non veg.

I will probably make 3 or 4 so the more the better. I would like them to be simple but not as simple as chips and dip.

Looking for a recipe for bacon-wrapped dates, and they are usually served in a creamy orange colored sauce.
I have had these at a Spanish Tapas Restaurant, and someone brought them to a party I was at this weekend and they are SO GOOD!
