Thousand Island Sauce is frequently used as a dressing for salads. It is made with mayonnaise, chilli powder and tomato ketchup. Egg and celery are added in this recipe to give some flavor.
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 egg – full boiled (optional)
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp celery – chopped
Method:
Place all the ingredients in the jar of a liquidizer and blend.

I need to make a prawn filling for sandwiches but don’t want the usual thousand island, and apart from boring mayonnaise I am not sure what else to use. Any ideas?

I like sour kraut, rellish, and thousand island sauce on a grilled bun with cheese.
AND fried onions too. Yeah!
