Use lentils instead of minced beef in this warming veggie chilli recipe that’s ready in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients:

2x400g tinned tomatoes
400g tinned lentils, drained
400g tinned red kidney beans, drained
1-2tsps chilli powder
3tbsps fried onions or shallots, finely slicedMethod:

Place tomatoes, lentils, beans and chilli in a large saucepan
Simmer over a medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly
Stir shallots or onions, leaving a few to sprinkle on the top
Taste and season, adding a little more chilli if it needs it
